TFFFalcon Exchange

FAQ

Clear answers before private access.

The exchange is deliberately conservative about claims, documents and transaction status.

01Is this a public live-bird shop?

No. Public pages show only moderated previews. Identity, document numbers, sensitive media, offers and transaction terms remain inside controlled member workflows.

02What is required for export?

Requirements depend on the species, legal origin, departure country, destination and current permit rules. The exchange records the proposed route, but parties and contracted specialists must verify veterinary, CITES, import and export requirements for each transaction.

03Which documents belong in a bird dossier?

At minimum: identity/ring records, ownership context, pedigree or parentage evidence, current health information, accurate media and any available export-readiness documents. The exact file expands by destination.

04Does verification guarantee health or performance?

No. Verification records what evidence was reviewed and separates the individual bird’s record from family or sibling context. It is not a future-performance guarantee and does not replace an independent veterinary examination.

05How long does a deal take?

A private offer can be qualified quickly, but document, payment and export stages vary widely. The deal room shows the current stage and unresolved actions instead of promising a universal timeline.

06How do sealed bids work?

Competing amounts are not displayed publicly. A submitted offer is tied to a verified member, can be qualified by the exchange desk, and remains non-public until the seller’s selection process is complete.

07Who sees my personal data?

Public visitors do not receive protected identity or document records. Access is limited by role and transaction stage. During the private beta, only the applicant, relevant counterpart and exchange desk should receive the information needed for that workflow.

08What happens after I request access?

The request is saved immediately and receives a reference number. The founding desk then reviews identity, market role, professional context and referral details. The normal target is 3–7 days; a request for clarification pauses that window until the missing information arrives.

09What can breeders, buyers and agents do?

Breeders create dossiers and submit lots for moderation. Buyers follow approved lots and make private offers. Agents or centres may represent a disclosed party, but must state who they act for and may not hide beneficial ownership or bid on both sides of the same transaction.

10Which files can I upload?

Listing media accepts common photographs and video. Evidence sections accept PDF, Word, Excel, text, photographs and, where relevant, video. Non-video files are limited to 25 MB each; video is limited to 500 MB and is transferred in resumable parts.

11Does the platform hold payment or provide escrow?

Not during the private beta. Offers are recorded, qualified and routed into a controlled transaction file, but no client funds should be sent to the platform. Regulated payment protection can be introduced only through a named contracted provider with written instructions for that deal.

12Can a listing be returned or removed?

Yes. A curator may request precise corrections, reject claims that cannot be evidenced, pause a listing when documents expire or remove it when ownership, welfare, legal origin or destination compliance becomes unclear. The seller sees the moderation note in the workspace.
